  • WILL I GET HIGH WITH CBD?
NO! You will not get high with CBD. CBD oil does not contain the psychoactive properties of THC and does not get you high.
  • HOW DOES CBD WORK AND WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
Humans are all born with endocannabinoid systems, a network of cannabinoid receptors in our brains and bodies that receive CBD. Cannabinoid receptors are found all over the body– the brain, the spinal cord, the immune system, the internal organs, the peripheral nervous system, and even on the skin. In fact, the endocannabinoid system is the most widespread receptor system in the human body. CBD oil can help improve our endocannabinoid system and its functioning. Phytocannabinoids (cannabinoids from plants) bind to both the cannabinoid receptors and stimulate them to produce beneficial effects and enhance the functioning of the endocannabinoid system. Some of the main benefits include Pain Relief Skin Remedy Sound Sleep Emotional Balance and Relaxation
  • DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CBD AND THC?
One of the key differences between CBD and THC is whether or not the cannabinoid will cause a euphoric effect, or “high,” when consumed. The answer? NO you can NOT get high from CBD. CBD has little affinity for the two cannabinoid receptors CB1 and CB2. Instead, it acts as an indirect antagonist of cannabinoid agonists. This not only means that CBD can never cause a high, no matter how much is consumed, but that it also acts to suppress the CB1-activating qualities of compounds like THC. In other words it is the only thing can can make you become un-high from THC.
  • WHAT IS WHOLE FLOWER EXTRACTION VS. INDUSTRIAL HEMP EXTRACTION?
Vermont Hemp Health only uses high end cannabis hemp flower when extracting its CBD. By only using the flower you are getting many other major cannabinoids and benefits that you need for serious ailments. Over 70% of the products in stores contain cbd from Industrial hemp that typically contains far less cannabidiol than CBD-rich cannabis strains. A very large amount of industrial hemp is required to extract a small amount of CBD. This r raises the risk of contaminants as hemp is a “bio-accumulator”—meaning the plant naturally draws toxins from the soil. Industrial Hemp is very cheap to grow and produces flowers with low cbd, seeds and stems. In terms of "medicine" you would want to look for high end CBD strains to have your CBD extracted from, like ours!
